Cooling is achieved by means of circulating water into the welding fitting. The water supply and discharge is managed via the power cables, so that an increase in power does not result in larger cable cross-sections here either.

The basis is the standard pliers, which is slightly widened by an additional kit that accommodates the water guide. The actual base body of the tongs is not cooled, as no heat is introduced here by the welding process.

This means that existing welding guns can also be converted to water cooling.
